Spacecubed and CORE Innovation Hub sign MoU with Indian Incubator, Forge for growth boost of WA.
On Friday 26th of July, Spacecubed and CORE Innovation Hub signed an MoU with Forge Innovation & Ventures, showcasing WA's capabilities to a global audience.
Through this MoU, Spacecubed will have access to expansion ready Indian hardware tech startups from Forge's portfolio to join the Perth Landing Pad. CORE Innovation Hub will explore knowledge exchange and innovation ecosystem building for particularly decarbonisation, mining tech, automation and robotics.
Forge Innovation & Ventures (Forge) is a vertically integrated enterprise for building and operating a national scale hardware innovation value network to catalyse talent, technology and ventures.
Among India’s top incubators and accelerators, Forge implements open innovation to deliver transformation by enabling both the public and private sectors to collaborate with startups and technology and growth partners. Forge currently has over 100 active hardware tech startups, across the climate resilience, clean energy, mining and resources, defence and health sectors.
Forge is the strategic knowledge and capability partner to the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, Government of Tamil Nadu, and several global industrial partners such as Airbus, Bosch, Siemens, Schneider, Saint Gobain and Vedanta.

The MoU aligns with the Government of Western Australia’s DiversifyWA strategic framework and will support further investment and growth in the Western Australian innovation ecosystem.
“We aim to create a pipeline of high-growth businesses to Western Australia for our Perth Landing Pad program, and bring in new technology and innovation to the State. Signing an MoU with Forge helps us achieve this, and will also provide a pathway for WA businesses to access international markets,” said Charotta Kemp, Program Manager for the Perth Landing Pad.
The Perth Landing Pad is co-funded by the State Government through the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation's $25.8 million New Industries Fund (NIF), and the City of Perth.
